From 1999 to a new company
The predecessor of today's platform was originally developed in 1999 as a native BIM-based facility management solution, built alongside ArchiCAD at Graphisoft, which spun ArchiFM off in 2005 — one of the earliest systems anywhere to connect a building's digital model to its everyday operation. Over more than 25 years, that system — ArchiFM — became the operational backbone for facility teams managing complex, asset-intensive portfolios across offices, retail, industrial and public real estate. We acquired majority ownership of ArchiFM with one condition guiding every decision: none of that 25-year facility management heritage could be allowed to disappear. ArchiPM is what we built from there — not a rebrand, but a new company with a new mission: to give organizations with the highest data-security requirements — global enterprises and government bodies — a modern IT architecture purpose-built to solve the financial administration challenges of physical assets, and to finally connect that world to the architectural digitalization data (BIM/IFC) it has always been disconnected from.
Why ArchiPM exists
